Civic education and observance
Constitution Day is an occasion for civic reflection rather than a single nationwide set of customs. NCCE outreach has included media engagements that encourage civic responsibility and participation in democratic discussion.[3]
The NCCE also runs a separate Annual Constitution Week from 28 April to 4 May. Its activities can include lectures, roundtable discussions, debates, quizzes, community durbars, dramas and media engagements; these are Constitution Week activities, not a guaranteed programme for 7 January.[4]

As a statutory public holiday, Constitution Day can affect normal public services. Check with the specific office, bank, shop or transport operator before travelling or arranging a visit.[1][2]
The fixed date remains 7 January, but an alternative observance has been announced in at least one past case: the Bank of Ghana’s Constitution Day page says the 2024 holiday was observed on 8 January because 7 January fell on a Sunday.
