In a week containing a holiday for which an employee is entitled to holiday pay, that employee's standard working hours are reduced by the hours that would normally have been worked on the holiday.[3] The Act also sets conditions for entitlement to a holiday with pay, including attendance on the relevant working days immediately before and after the holiday, subject to the applicable rules.[3]
