San Marino’s Law No. 152 of 18 December 1990 lists 2 November as the Commemoration of the Deceased among the country’s religious festivities. The law also says that labor legislation is to be brought into line with its holiday calendar.[1]

The date follows All Saints’ Day, which the same law lists on 1 November. The country’s Civil Aviation, Maritime Navigation and Homologation Authority also includes the Commemoration of All Souls on 2 November in its national holidays listing.[1][4]

In the winter period, those cemeteries are normally open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The government says access to the rural cemeteries in Domagnano, Acquaviva, Fiorentino, Chiesanuova, Faetano and Montegiardino is free.[2]
